Freedom Care and Support provides support to adults with a range of disabilities including, learning disabilities, autism, physical disabilities, mental health problems and sensory impairment in Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen.
We work with people to design and develop their own services, as a result, the funding for most of the people we support is through personal budgets such as direct payments and personal health budgets.
We have recently been accepted onto the approved provider list for the supply of care services in supported housing.
For Example
We have helped people develop their own supported living service, including recruiting their own staff team, agreeing their support plans with Local Authorities and assisting with finding and developing property.

Personalised support for people in the community
Our aim is to develop and provide bespoke services for people. Some examples of how this works in practice is given below.
We provide a number of community support packages for people with learning disabilities and autism all these are established with the full involvement of the families who are involved in the recruitment and selection of staff to ensure the best fit for the people they will be supporting.
